Welcome back everyone - , it was good to see all your relaxed faces, all recharged for this year. And welcome to family members who attended.
* Last week was our New Year BBQ at the lake which offered a great fellowship opportunity.
* Following a lot of discussion, Doug sent a survey to members to review the club's meeting time, venue and menu options.
* Monday night we had our first cluster meeting to update the Rochester flood situation. Donations are still coming in and supplies sourced from DIK.
*Tuesday we held our Board meeting with many items being discussed.
- Doug presented the results of the survey:
74% voted to remain at the same time.
90% voted to change the venue to PepperGreen Farm.
84% voted to change the menu.
We thank him for his time researching this.
We will continue at the Tennis Centre until a review has been made with PepperGreen.
- Acting treasurer Peter, presented a detailed account of our finances and we thank him for his valuable support.
-Stew and Martin presented a paper for ESRAG (Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group), re A Mallacoota Endemic Garden to establish endangered plants.
Board agreed we would pay for a misting trough to grow seeds and cuttings.
- The Easter Family Day Monday market was not agreed upon and will not be supported by us.
-We have had two resignations from the club, Nick Christian and Karen Bosario.
* Can owing subs and uniforms be paid promptly please.
*If you have leave can you notify John Harkin for the roster please. And if unable to attend, please swap with other members.
* A very special welcome to our new member who was inducted on Wednesday, Madeline Schoo.
*A BBQ is on Saturday for Chinese Lunar New Year. "Cookers" only required, see Rob for roster.
*Our Cluster Event is on Saturday Feburary 4th, 11am-4pm at the Mechanics Hall in School St. This is a hands on event with the DG. It will be great to share with other clubs.
We are hoping to get 15-20 people attending. The link is added in the bulletin, and you just need to hover your phone camera over the QR code to register. (See below) If you have difficulty just contact me with the number of people participating.
